A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

We got our first 3 Unregistered Pygmy Goats in the spring of 93'. By 94' we were showing, and in 95' we bought our first registered goat from Hub & Mildred Newland.

Our first registered babies were born in Febuary of 97', and by September of 99', we had 2 PGCH's! PGCH New-Land Sensation, and PGCH Country Sky Tomahawk. That breeding produced our first PGCH buck in our herd name, PGCH AAA Totally Sensational. Tomahawk and GCH New-Land Angel produced the first PGCH doe in our herd name, PGCH AAA Dark Skies owned by Tammy and Gary Katzer of Dream Chaser farms. Both have also produced PGCH children.

We strive to keep our breeding program consistant and breed for correct structure, style, width, angulation to those rear legs and ease of kidding.

We're happy to see that our animals are consistantly placing in the top 5 of their classes from generation to generation. We brought in what we feel were the best bloodlines in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, New Mexico and North Carolina.

We usually maintain a herd of 45, less than 7 being bucks. We currently own 4 PGCH does, one of those being the 2007 National Champion doe, PGCH AAA Silver Lace. We attend 7-8 shows a year in our region. We're very involved members of the Rocky Mountain Pygmy Goat Club, and Diana is the showchair at 5 shows a year (sometimes more....).

We also have 1 llama, 6 barn cats, Lionheads and Holland Lops, a 5 year old Scottish Terrier, and a 2 year old yellow lab.
